At the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), we’re using technology to help solve some of society’s toughest challenges — from eradicating disease and improving education, to addressing the needs of our local communities. Founded by Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg in 2015, CZI’s mission is to build a more inclusive, just, and healthy future for everyone. Learn more about our programs.
We use a variety of funding mechanisms, including targeted grantmaking as well as open competitions for grant applicants in specific issue areas, or Requests for Applications (RFAs). This portal provides information on the latest RFAs issued to support our work. Each RFA includes information about the opportunity, project requirements, eligibility, and details about the application process.
To apply for an RFA, you need to create a SurveyMonkey Apply account by clicking the Register button in the top right corner or log in to your existing SurveyMonkey Apply account. Please note that this page and our online application process is powered by SurveyMonkey Apply. Therefore, your use of this page and the subsequent online application process is governed by SurveyMonkey’s terms of service and privacy policy. You can learn more about the information that CZI collects and how we use it, and the choices you have regarding this information by viewing CZI’s privacy policy for our funding activity.
This portal may also be used to support certain RFAs issued by one of CZI's affiliated institutions, including for example, a regional Biohub that is part of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network. In such a case, you understand that CZI will serve as a technology partner to help facilitate the RFA process and you agree to both the CZ Biohub Network's privacy policy and CZI's privacy policy for our funding activity.
